Pulling Together Private and Public-Private Circular Economy Loop Deals

By addressing the increasing focus on facilitating resource efficient circular economy arrangements, private companies and government/private company collaborations are seeking to develop new forms of mutually beneficial transactions. This presentation explains these arrangements in terms of their relationship to key legal /policy issues in supply chain commercial relationships, such as intellectual property rights, environmental regulatory compliance and profiting from public-private facility procurement programs. It illustrates their significance in constantly technologically evolving industries that are presented with resource availability constraints, such as electronics products and energy storage.
Following this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Implement strategies based on circular economy thinking, which produce profitable resource planning and efficiency benefits or enhance selected market access
- Make deals with private companies and enter public-private contractual relationships which fit with the several emerging circular economy public initiatives under way worldwide
